Tomorrow we are going to celebrate Dave's birthday in Reading. Today Matt took the above six photos near his office in Bethnal Green where he started a new job last month.

Note: We have changed the blog again so that anyone can post comments, even anonymously. But in order to stop spam we had to add 'word verification', that annoying test in which you must type a shown word. Sorry.

A rare instance of Chris sitting down.

Special focus this week is upon Chris Nash, brother and brother-in-law to Clare and Matt respectively. Chris has been extremely helpful lately in gardening, helping to fix up the house, preparing for the BBQ, and of course lending his Economists. He was also an invaluable social facilitator at Matt and Clare's wedding, where some of these photos were taken. Thanks, Chris.

Last week Clare received a pension and an extra five days of annual leave per year.

Matt and Clare went to the theatre to see The Far Pavilions last night. Clare enjoyed it very much. Matt put up with Clare.

This morning for the first time the Metropolitan Police searched Matt's bag on the Underground.

Today Matt attended a sermon by Sheikh Abdul Qayum, the Imam of East London Mosque.
