Yay! I'm going to be an uncle instead of an aunt!

Did you find out if he's English or American?

Okay enough joking, I'm seriously very excited and look forward to meeting him.

He is not American, since there is no such thing as American blood or ethnicity, only American nationality or citizenship, which he has not got (yet). We'll have to work hard to give him U.S. citizenship, filling out forms every so often and putting up with whatever baloney they put us through for 18 years. It would be easier if he were born in the U.S., but Clare wasn't having it.

Yes, it's hard enough finding a cab when labor starts, but booking a trans-Atlantic flight, I can't imagine.

Congratulations on the exciting news! Boys are awesome! I'm very happy with mine and have decided to keep him for as long as he will put up with me. Brian, your comments crack me up. Matt, I can't say for certain, but I would bet that delivering a baby is more work than filling out paperwork for 18 years. I've only delivered babies though-- no paperwork baloney. Best wishes to Clare!

I won't deny the paperwork is easier than the delivery, yes.
