Our recent trip to the USA.

In Martinez, Pat built a house for Dylan.

We visited the Beamans.

We joined the Forneys for an Easter egg hunt in Pleasant Hill.

The Ferns made dinner for us in Berkeley.

We visited an amusement park in Vallejo.

On our way to Oregon we stayed in Redding, where Dylan threw rocks into a river.

At last we met Edith Sparrow Phelps in person, at Brian and Karen's house in Ashland.

The snow was 20 feet deep.

Returning to the Bay Area, we visited Pixie Land.

Pat and Diane, not knowing that a volcano would delay us, celebrated Dylan's birthday early at El Charro.

A volcano in Iceland delayed our flight by six days.

Joe Mendes and his children came to dinner at Pat and Diane's.

We also saw Phil, Conrad, Sunder, and Avery in San Francisco.

Pat and Diane took us to Train Town and Stinson Beach.

At Safeway on Alhambra, just hours before our flight, Matt ran into Ellen Barnacal Concepcion and her daughter Casey.

Hello! It looks like you had a great, if extended time. Nice to have you back in London though. See you soon!

Three Feet, is this part of your recent plan to avoid Facebook in favour of more traditional channels of communication such as Royal Mail and blogs?
